Fakta Vain EU-alueelle tarkoitettu kaksi CD-levyä sisältävä kokoelma, jossa on neljä jazzin suurmestarin klassikkoalbumia: Blowin' Country, Bud Shank with Bill Perkins/Shorty Rogers, Bud Shank And Three Trombones ja Jazz at Cal-Tech. Aloitamme Blowin' Countrylla, jolla ei ole mitään tekemistä kantrimusiikin kanssa, joten älä huolestu! Toinen julkaisu on kaksipuolinen albumi. Ensimmäisellä puolella Budin rinnalla soittaa toinen pitkäaikainen yhteistyökumppani, alto- ja tenorisaksofonisti Bill Perkins, pianolla Hampton Hawes, bassolla Red Mitchell ja rummuilla Mel Lewis. Toisella puolella Bud soittaa säveltäjän, sovittajan ja muusikon Shorty Rogersin kanssa, mukana pianolla Jimmy Rowles, bassolla Harry Babasin ja rummuilla Roy Harte. Toinen levy alkaa Bud Shank And Three Trombonesilla. Lopuksi kuullaan Jazz at Cal-Tech, joka tallennettiin elävänä vuonna 1956 California Institute of Technologyssa kiittäväisen tiede- ja insinööriopiskelijayleisön edessä. Innokkaille.
