Fakta Dark Chisme is a Seattle duo founded by Chicago-raised Latina DJ, electronic producer, and vocalist Christine Gutiérrez and joined by multi-instrumentalist Erik “E" Schneider. Officially making their debut in September 2023 with the single "Yo Puedo Vivir Sin Ti" and unveiling a steady stream of singles over the following months, Dark Chisme released their self-titled debut album in July 2024. Quickly rising up KEXP's charts, the album is an anthemic and addictive set of dark wave that confidently blends industrial, synth-pop, EBM, post-punk, techno, goth, Latin, and house styles.
