Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - The Breaks: Definitive Collection (Ltd Zoetrope Vinyl)

Fakta Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five were a pioneering hip-hop group formed in the South Bronx, New York City. Known for their innovative DJ techniques and socially conscious lyrics, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.

This compilation features “The Message," one of the most influential hip-hop singles of all time, as well as “Scorpio" – one of the greatest electro recordings ever produced. A raw, direct and vivid portrait of Black street life in early-1980s New York, as well as a fascinating time capsule documenting rap’s first experiments with the album format, this record earned its reputation on its own merits.
