Meiko Kaji is a Japanese actress and singer. She rose to fame in the 1970s with the films in the Female Prisoner Scorpion series and the Lady Snowblood series. Her unique presence and aesthetic are highly regarded by film fans worldwide, including director Quentin Tarantino, and she has achieved a cult following across the globe.
