Fakta Mike LeDonne has loved gospel music for decades. Most of the music LeDonne loves come from the grooves and feeling of gospel and the blues, and when he listened to gospel choirs swinging hard on a refrain or a vamp, he always wanted to get a piece of it. This recording was his chance to expand the sound of the amazing Groover Quartet with the most beautiful instrument of all - the human voice.
