Thin Lizzy

The albums "Fighting" and "Nightlife", recorded in 1974 and 1975, were the first Thin Lizzy albums to feature the classic line-up of guitarist Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.

"Nightlife" was released in November 1974 under the production of Ron Nevison and Phil Lynott and contains evergreens such as "Still in Love with You" and "Sha La La".
"Fighting" was released in September 1975, reached number 60 in the British charts and contains titles such as "Rosalie" and "Suicide".

This 7CD box set contains the two versions of "Nightlife", the original album and a new stereo mix by Richard Whittaker under the supervision of guitarist Scott Gorham, mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road Studios. "Fighting" is available in a remastered form, with four tracks remixed in stereo due to the availability of the tapes.

The other CDs contain unreleased mixes from the band's archive, outtakes, B-sides, radio sessions and, for the first time officially, a show recorded in Derby in 1975.

The package in a 10x10" box is rounded off with sleeve notes by Mark Blake from Mojo and includes a hardcover booklet with rare photos and memories, mostly contributed by Jim Fitzpatrick.
