Fakta Kaksoisalbumi tuplana, sinisen ja turkoosin värisenä vinyylinä. Vuosi 2021 on Universal Picturesin elokuvan Scott Pilgrim vs. The World teatterilevityksen kymmenes vuosipäivä. Elokuvan on ohjannut Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Baby Driver), ja se perustuu Bryan Lee O'Malleyn sarjakuvaromaaniin. Pääosissa nähdään Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead ja Kieran Culkin. Elokuvasta on sittemmin tullut kultti-ilmiö. Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun Nigel Godrichin säveltämä musiikki julkaistaan vinyylinä. Julkaisusta lähtien Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on saanut paljon tunnustusta. Brittiläinen The Independent sijoitti sen neljänneksi listallaan "kaikkien aikojen 40 parhaasta elokuvasoundtrackista" ja totesi, että Wright "löysi tavan sulauttaa soundtrackin saumattomasti Scott Pilgrim vs. The World -tarinaan". Se valittiin myös Alternative Pressin listalle "16 fantastista elokuvasoundtrackia, jotka sinun on kuultava". "We Are Sex Bob-Omb" voitti vuonna 2010 Houston Film Critics Societyn palkinnon parhaasta alkuperäiskappaleesta.
