Sora-De - Sora-De

Fakta Sora-de is new project born in 2025 from Artem Pismenetskii (founder of Dao De Noize). Picking yourself up piece by piece. Pismenetskii is based in Ukraine and the Sora-De album was recorded in July 2025. The country is currently at war with Russia, yet even under difficult circumstances art can still thrive. OM Swagger’s Ian Shirley was sent the music in 2025. It struck a chord with him as its musical and sparse beauty and reminded him of one of his favourite ambient albums. This was the self-composed soundtrack to the film Upstream Colour released as an album by film maker Shane Carruth in 2013. The Sora-De album comprises of seven ambient pieces and on the limited edition cassette, to ensure musical flow and maintain an ambient state all seven tracks are repeated on Side Two to avoid unnecessary rewinding.
