Fakta Arkistojulkaisu vuodelta 2018. Scratching The Door: The First Recordings Of The Flaming Lips on kokoelma, jolla on musiikkia bändin alkuperäisestä kokoonpanosta. Scratching The Door keskittyy kappaleisiin, jotka The Flaming Lipsin alkuperäinen kokoonpano nauhoitti, ja laulussa kuullaan Wayne Coynen veljeä Markia. Levyllä ovat bändin ensimmäinen ja toinen kasettidemo sekä The Flaming Lipsin ensimmäinen omakustanteinen EP. Kaikki nämä nauhoitukset on koottu yhdelle julkaisulle ensimmäistä kertaa. Muihin kappaleisiin kuuluvat The Who’n ”Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere”, Led Zeppelinin ”Communication Breakdown” ja 1960-luvun Batman-tv-sarjan teemamusiikki, joka oli aiemmin mukana Rykodiscin vuoden 2002 kokoelmalla Finally The Punk Rockers Are Taking Acid.
